Best Practices for Lubricating the Master QD Series

There are 2 ways to properly lubricate our QD series.  

Lubricating using the QD Coupler

This is by far the easiest way to lubricate a Master QD motor or handpiece. 

1) Detach motor or handpiece from coupler.

2) Place 3 drops into the opening on the nipple sticking out the top of the coupler.

3) Reattach the motor or handpiece and run for 15 seconds.  The air will blow the lube into the motor.

Lubricating Directly

You can't tell by looking, but there are two air lines that run into that hole on the back end of your Master QD handpiece, an air intake line and an exhaust line.  It's important that the lubricant gets into the air intake line. 

1) Place 3 drops of lube all the way into the bottom of the back end.

2) Hold handpiece at an angle an slowly rotate 360°.  This will make sure the lube reaches the side that has the intake line.

3) Run the motor or handpiece for 15 seconds.
